Got a big presentation coming up? About to facilitate a very important meeting? Preparing to check a colleague who keeps overstepping her boundaries? Whatever it is that gets you nervous about having to perform in a certain way, I think it’s normal.
When my energy is high before one of these big scary things and my stomach is doing somersaults I try to ride the energy wave with music that is just as energy-filled. I listen to songs with lyrics that remind me that I can do whatever I need to do—that I can do anything.
